Our vintage store in Enschede starts with its own unique tale

Back in 2020, we were just an online store. From our warehouse on the edge of Enschede, we would sort, launder, and upload vintage and secondhand clothes to our website.

It wasn’t long till our doorbell started ringing. Every day, customers were turning up on our doorstep asking to come in. They were looking for a good vintage store in Enschede to browse in person.

Great! (We thought). But sadly, we still had to turn them away. We were thrilled with the interest, but we couldn’t do that. Not yet, anyway.

 

Our first vintage store

Immediately, we began searching for somewhere we could open a real vintage store.

Enschede has a long history in textiles; the factories might be gone, but the fabric was woven into our culture. And with a future invested in sustainable fashion instead, we felt there was no better place than right here. In our home.

On De Heurne, just a 10 minute walk from Enschede Station, we found our perfect location. In 2022, we finally opened our first physical store.

But we didn’t just want to open any vintage store; we wanted to bring our vintage shopping experience to you.

It’s a place where you get the thrill of a thrift store hunt, without any of the hassle. Where you can lose yourself in our cozy corner and spend hours pouring over each incredible vintage find.

Whether you’re into 90s streetwear, Y2K nostalgia, authentic 80s jeans, or those iconic true vintage styles of the best decades. We bring a collection for everything.

It might just be 140 square meters, but we pack in a punch with what we fit.

• With around 7000 items in our vintage store, you’ll be spoiled for choice.
• You won't find any fillers. Just hanger after hanger of unique clothes with special surprises.

 

On top of trends.

It’s always worth popping in to see what’s added.

• New drops every week.
• If it’s trending, we’re sourcing it. And bringing it in for you.
• If the seasons are changing, so is our stock.

 

Cleaned and categorized.

Jam-packed with stuff doesn’t me disorganized or dirty.

• All the clothes in our vintage store are washed and ready to wear.
• Our rails are organized into categories. So you’ll know where to go for what you’re looking for.

 

Try before you buy.

• When you find something you love, you can head off to try it on in our fitting rooms.
• With vintage clothing being a chaos of different ideas of sizes and cuts, we always recommend seeing how it fits first.

First dibs on the good stuff

Alright, here it is.

Being so close to our warehouse, our Enschede store gets all the best vintage stuff first.

If we’re sorting and processing clothes and come across something that deserves to be seen in person ASAP, that’s where we drop it.

We’re talking about those rare designer items, the vintage with the truly unique details, or incredible condition sought-after brands. It’s the kind of things that make you scream a little and clutch them to your chest when you find them.

So, if you are hunting for that really special vintage find, our Enschede store is where you need to be.

 

Are all the clothes in the Enschede store vintage?

We often find clothes that aren’t technically old enough to be vintage, but they still deserve another life.

So, while most of our stuff is authentic vintage, we do sell some non-vintage clothes that still fit in with our collection.

Vintage or not, it always meets our quality standards and our vibe.

Everything we sell is professionally authenticated and tagged with the known decade or brand. So you can be assured you’ll always know what you’re buying.

Our staff are always happy to help if you have questions about our clothes. And if you’re buying a few pieces, they can even get you a little discount.

 

What about selling or donating old clothes to our vintage store?

We love circular fashion, but we can’t accept or buy clothes from customers right now.

Sorting clothes is a complicated process (it’s what we used to do, without the selling!). Our current sorting process is streamlined from sources we know, so we can spend less time on tedium and more time getting you the good stuff.

We can’t yet open that process up to sorting donations from another stream, but we share your goals to keep your old stuff in circulation.
